About

CHADD of Grand Rapids is a local chapter of the national nonprofit organization CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). Our mission is to support individuals and families affected by ADHD in West Michigan through education, connection, and access to trusted local resources. We believe that with the right tools and support, every person with ADHD can thrive — at home, at school, at work, and in the community.

Our chapter is led by Linda Brauer, MSW, a passionate advocate and mental health professional with deep experience in supporting individuals and families managing ADHD. Linda brings warmth, knowledge, and dedication to her work, helping our community better understand ADHD and reduce the stigma surrounding it.

At CHADD of Grand Rapids, we are committed to:

  • Raising awareness and promoting accurate information about ADHD in both children and adults
  • Offering support groups and educational events for parents, adults, and caregivers
  • Connecting individuals and families with local professionals and services who understand ADHD
  • Creating a welcoming, informed community for those who may feel isolated or overwhelmed

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, have been living with ADHD for years, or are supporting a loved one on their journey, we’re here for you. Together, we can create a supportive environment where people with ADHD feel empowered to live fully and confidently.
